CEAT encountered a recurring problem of volumetric DDoS attacks targeted at their website, leading to a high risk of compromising their digital assets. To mitigate this risk and facilitate the expansion of their digital business, CEAT sought a robust managed Web Application Firewall (WAF) service, which could be managed by experienced security professionals to secure their online presence.

N7 provided CEAT with the ability to create custom Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies, in addition to the default policies, that could accurately detect and prevent volumetric DDoS attacks. CEAT leveraged N7’s AI/ML-based anomaly detection algorithm that alerted their team to take necessary action before it impacted the users' experience. The multi-layered security approach successfully prevented volumetric DDoS attacks, enabling CEAT's digital assets to function optimally without any observed instances of downtime.

Post plugging onto N7’s DDoS Service, the CEAT website has experienced 85% decrease in security attacks. There were no malicious attacks, thanks to N7's Managed WAF module and thus 20% decrease in infrastructure cost as Nitrogen WAF protected origin server improved the server performance and saved on infrastructure cost.
